MaBell’s Country Condiments are made by Meredith Bell in Middle New Cornwall, Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Jam dripping of ladle

Ma Bell’s flavour combinations borrow from traditional recipes but reflect her need to explore bold or distinctive flavours. These are suitable to the everyday and should become an addition to any modern pantry.

When in season, there is much to choose from on this four acre property, harvested at their peak, and prepared in small batches. Rose petals or hips, dandelions (!), wild fruit & berries, and herbs, just to name a few.

Whether you like something savoury or sweet, condiments can become a tasty addition to breakfasts, sandwiches, grilled meats, a variety of hard or creamy cheeses, poultry and fish, or with yogurt as a yummy dessert.

Carrots and lemon

Experiment and enjoy — one flavour at a time!

Some of the most popular flavours are the result of the involvement of discerning customers who become part of the tasting experience — a combination of art and alchemy.

Every bite, like every season, is different. Every combination is a new flavour sensation.

If you can’t get to the Lunenburg Farmers’ Market on a Thursday morning – some of Ma Bell’s most popular flavours of the season will be available in limited supply at the Famous Town Pie Shop in Mahone Bay.
